There are many things that can go through her mind. Mostly the fact that she is currently a woman living in two worlds and stuck in two worlds. A fool on one end and a brutal warrior on the other. There are times where she drops the funny girl act and comes in with blades swinging and blood spraying all over the place and rarely any survivors. Her reasons are wide but one can speculate that she had to survive not just by magic in a time where everything was going to hell and one would have to get tough to survive such times.
Even today when she isn't working on spells, she practices her moves with her armaments with stunning and stressing accuracy. Such a bloody case happened many years ago when she was called upon as a sorceress to curse a local king prior to an invasion. However such a plan ended in disaster while in a drunken rage, the one who asked for her services made extremely powerful advances on her to the point she was struck down a couple of times before finally snapping and in the end it ended in a bloodbath.
The local king and his knights discover the attacker and hundreds of his fellow men brutally slaughtered, bodies maimed, skulls smashed, arms and limbs scattered everywhere and the ground turned red with their blood. One of the knights spotted a figure across the massacre and are stunned by that inhuman form, her eyes slowly dimming from the white like looking back to the king with a cold stare, axe in hand stained with the blood of the men who wanted to take his kingdom.
"Remember this your majesty. You have been spared. Do not come after me or you will share the fate of the men who wanted your pathetic land. Farewell... for now."
She says before vanishing into into the dense fog. If numbers serve, all 1,500 men were brutally killed all because of its leader abusing her and her abilities. It's never nice to mess with Launa and that's what separates her from all tricksters. She's not afraid to kill. And hopes in modern times, that chapter never surfaces to her friends and loved ones.
