What is it with cats and their need to walk on thin edges like fine acrobats and their fearlessness when they literally walk on the edge? Launa doesn't seem to have that trouble when walking on those types of grounds. Especially when you catch her sitting on the unprotected edges of the tallest towers because she can afford herself the view of any city she ventures to.
Why she does it, her humanity will ever know but feline instincts will always say otherwise.
Update: 9/16 - Well I looked at this picture with fascination and it was right about time I throw this baby in glorious color! Also I took some time to take shot with photoshop's warp tool to bend the Dutch flag to the contours of the drawn blank flag and it sort of came out well. Also I've been thinking of a story to go with this and I can think of this going two ways:
1. The year is 2102 and Launa is sitting quietly at the top of Amsterdam's first thousand foot skyscraper
2. It's the same year and the tower setting is still there as well but the big difference is that the world has radically changed since the "Merger of the Worlds". After the defeat of the Great Gray Queen who kidnapped Launa as vengeance for her "crimes" during the great purge, something happened during that victory that caused the collapse of the Mystical Underworld and re-merged it with the mortal realm openly exposing the beings who called it home back to the world they were forced to abandon since World War II.
It has been ten years since that event and the world is forced to change. One of those steps are stronger governments to adapt to this brave new world and the nations of Europe were all too happy to come first. Launa sits alone on the great tower overlooking the city she calls home as she reminisces the times she went under several "titles" to state her nationality. Born a Frieslandian, Raised A Dutch Citizen and now as she sits, the Dutch flag flies for the last time as the nation will become part of the new European Republic and will live her life as a Europan.
"It was fun while it lasted." Says Launa as now her reputation as the elusive Trickster Goddess is gone and her guises won't have an impact like they used to. She's still is just the fun of going around is different now. That and she's going to have to deal with the mortals as she walks the streets as she is now.
