Meet Hexafelis (I know and I hope Ivanev can add the extra arms below) it's an large predatory species evolved from the common housecat over billions of years of trial and error. The species stands at the shoulder around 24 feet tall for Launa it would be over 30 feet tall.
Launa roams the forests of the evolved world with a larger sun making things warmer all year round.

Y'know, this is just a completely random comment, but that's remarkably unchanged for five billion years into the future. 
I mean, there's the fact that trees as they currently exist won't be able to photosynthesize 600 million years from now, and then, another 600 million years after that, the planet will have heated up so much from the sun's slowly increasing luminosity that the oceans will start evaporating, then boiling, and life on earth will reduced to extremophile microbes and the planet will look like a slightly larger version of Venus. Another 800 million years after that, the core will have cooled to the point where it solidifies, causing the magnetic field to collapse.
I know, needless block of text. But, still, that's the kind of person I am. An unabashed nerd.
